Nice exchange rate there. IMO keeping feeding, clothing and caring for terrorists in prisons is pointless anyway. Next time don't take any live prisoners, Israel, finish them right off, problem solved.

Israel just likes to play emotion cards as well as political cards for the world communities.   Israel can lie to the world communities.     &n bsp;

How symbolic... 1:1000...

   &n bsp;   Well, Shalit's now a free man. Some Palestinians will be freed. What about the rest wallowing still in Israeli jails? Any respite for them?

Maybe just an excuse to free lots of unjustly trapped prisoners without losing face. Also connections with the recent UN Palestinian bid are possible.

Gilad Shalit is freed after 5 years. The bloody criminal organization of Hamas has obtained, in exchange, the release of over 1,000 of its own criminals.
Happy for Gilad, but worried for those 1,000+ bloody criminals now on the lose.
