Well, Edward Snowden must have balls the size of oranges and I'm so elated that he does. Someone has to stop or slow the destruction of our liberties. I just wish everyone with any knowledge of illicet government activities would also speak out.

I knew all this document stuff was to do with spying, economics, middle east wars and I bet 9/11 was done by Bush signing an order to say 'go for it' and that then provoked them to use any excuse to attack oil countries. I knew it! No wonder the west does not want that information getting out, yes I agree the usa and the uk should be sanctioned for preaching human rights and democracy and then doing all sorts of nasty things behind closed doors all for the sake of their monarchy who is nothing more than one woman with an expensive jewel on her head which contains Indian Jewels anyway!

Anyone notice a pattern of Francis Minor and Ishmael Finn always posting one right after the other, spreading anti-whistleblower lies and straight up disinfo agent government shill propaganda?

Glenn Greenwald has nothing at all. Everything he say's is a lie and has been threatening for months now to release information he does not have. Bull malarkey Mr. Greeenwald. Go away. If he had anything, he is so scared the American government is going to bust his rear end, he won't release anything.
Chicke n Greenwald. Not a journalist at all.

Greenwald has been working directly with Edward Snowden, who still has thousands of unreleased documents in his possession as insurance. Youre either an idiot, or a disinfo agent.

Ishmael Finn 20.08.2013 06:00

Greenwald is bluffing. He's merely attempting to sell a story to the highest bidder. This is not journalism, its opportunism.

A few secret documents about 911 being an inside job or about who decided to use false advertising to market the Iraq invasion, etc. would be interesting.

I would take as understood that our spy system fed information about foreign corporations to our corporations.

my guess is that snowden/greenwald have an insurance policy. Some document(s) that are so bad, that if anyone related to those two people get arrested or vanished, this policy will put alot of people im jail .... or more????

These men are smart, but because they are above intelligence and winners at everything they do, they feel they are incapable of making errors. And that is their one mistake.

Robert Macfarlane 09.08.2013 18:51

Why release all the information? For what purpose? Snowden, along with his assistant Greenwald, release only what is needed to prove their point. The point being that NSA and Govnt. has lied to the public. They have proved that via what has been released. Perhaps there might be new claims by Gov't. that they want to "correct". There is no reason to show all their cards when they don't need to.
And for all the Obama haters, this was going on long before he got in office. Bush/Cheney? Patriot Act? Sound familiar?

Eileen Dover 09.08.2013 00:11

He better make backups of that data and give them out to trusted associates, just in case he has an "accident." ;

Snowden is a hero for putting his life on the line in order to make the World aware of Obamas PRISM and USA propaganda. Snowden deserves the best support that can be mustered for his courage and fortitude and Greenwald, Manning and Assange are also heoes of the same calibre. Thank goodness we have whistle blowers who can identify the illegal activities of a government totally out of control and with no vision for a peaceful World.

Who is the big fish now? Notice I did not say Catch of the Day..

Howard 08.08.2013 01:15

If this Snowden leaking information was authentic, would not Greenwald be in orange coveralls shovelling manure right now? Shades of Lee Harvey Oswald's fake defection to Russia in 1961 to tell the Russians how high the U-2 spy planes were flying so Russia could shoot them down and disrupt the disarmament summit going on between JF Kennedy and N. Krushev of the Soviet Union. Oswald was later assigned to observe the JFK assassination and was whacked as the perp by Nixon's private detective, Jack Rubenstein (Jack Ruby).
