First of all Todays serbs in the balkans either slavs came there 7th century or not the people have mixed so the conclusion would be that it is their forfathers homeland. Inn Response to Pedro: you have no right to make those accusations on behalf of the Serbs living in Kosovo today, as Shquiptars have driven people out of their homes and done horrible things to people who dident deserve what happened to them just because propaganda driven societies have made people do. And yes i am talking about every bloody country...

Serb army and police defeated KLA on the KOSMET battlefield in 1999.After that NATO started agression and bombardment of whole Serbia.In order to prevent total destruction of infrastucture in Serbia,serb parlament accepted resolution 1244.After retreat of serbian army from KOSMET,NATO occupied Serbian historic land in order to grab natural recources from KOSMET and install albanian puppet government,leaded by murderers and convicted criminals.Serbia is a small country and we can not  wage war against NATO,most powerfull military criminal organization in the earth.But,if  NATO ever leaves KOSMET,serb holy land will be again ours.

I am albanian and i have to say i am surprised by both sides. In Albania people were terrified by the sight of over 1 milion kosovar refugees coming over mostly women and children telling the most horrible stories. However as an individual surely the future of my children should be my priority and i know that any sort of hate is not gonna help. In Albania people are appalled by the religious branding of this conflinct as Albania is the maybe most atheist state in the world or the most ignorant about religion. There is a lot to be done to culturaly integrate ethnic albanians in Kosovo with present day albanians in Albania and this conflict is not helping. I've never heard an albanian show any hatred towards the serbs as Albania itself has different issues to deal with. They say time heals everything and i truly hope so. In the mean time lets understand that we the people are just puppets to the super powers and as 2 ancient balcan nations we should not rely on US and Russia to determine our fate.

First, Serbs on Kosovo are Serbs just as anywhere else - people who like their fatherland Serbia, their nation, their history! Second, the history tells us that current situation on Kosovo is the result of anti-Serbian politics led by Communist Party after World War II, but history is changing so you can't tell that Kosovo is never be Serbian again, of course it will. Third, you said that Kosovo is protecting itself from "Drug and Criminal act entering Kosovo", but you forgot that Kosovo is actually core and origin of criminal acts, smuggling drugs, weapon or white slavery in the Europe - have you ever heard about Albanian mafia? What do you know about Serbia and "Beogradski Pashaluk"? Do you know anything about Serbian ethnical territory on the Balkan? One and half millennium old national territory? That's much bigger than "pashaluk" which has only been wish of our enemies. If you really want to know more about Serbs, Kosovo and Serbia take some history books, written before 1990's and you'll see who always were Serbs and who were Albanians. You'll see the story about Serbs who populated Kosovo centuries before Albanians came there (see Serbian centuries old monasteries and churches there) , Serbs as people who always only defended their land from aggressors and you'll also see the story of Albanians as savage tribes before, or mafia clans and criminals today, who always tried to occupy Kosovo from Serbs. The fact is they managed to do so in the last 10 years with the help of USA and that's no kind of justice but biggest crime by the end of 20th century, so if you are happy to see this you can be either an Albanian, or a brainwashed, uneducated hater of Serbs with no ethic and no elementary knowledge which spreads Albanian propaganda lies - either way your comments are not credible!

Pedro, this political pamphlets of yours, maybe convincing for Albanian terrorists in Kosovo and some semi educated readers from UK and USA, but for all other readers, with even elementary school, it is simple propaganda. Go back to your history teacher, ask him (her) to give you back the money from their salaries, because they have learned you nothing. The same thing for your English language teacher. With the God will, it would be appropriate if your country and your people experience the same happenings as Serbia and Serbs did in last 60 years. In that case your opinion could be respected.

I was browsing through the international media in hopes they would report these horrible events from occupied Kosovo, where the ethnic Albanians continued their agenda of oppressing and terrorizing the remaining Serb population (250000 Serbs were ethnically cleansed from most of Kosovo except the north, many were murdered and their churches and graveyards burned to the ground by the albanian extremists) And guess what, there was no mention of it on either BBC or CNN. Not even a mention of Albanian special forces shooting at Serb civilians!Of course you can see they reported only today to blame the Serbs for the fire. Disgusting one sided propaganda!
I want to thank RT for their objective reporting, you show us the other side and please keep up the good work!

For PEDRO.Kosovo was always Serbian land dating from early medival,learn history.Founding of Serbian state was in Kosovo.And  for  criminal: see for yourself on the internet that Kosovo Albanians are the most criminal people in the Europe including Drugs and trafficking.Just look officiall Interpol and recent FBI data about Kosovo Albanians.But USA is overlooking that in favour of they long term interest in the region.For them that  is yet another region  in "drang nach osten" .Oups it's a word from past ...or is it?

@Pedro... Thank you for showing RT readers how small time Albanian  street thugs behave...It sure is easy to act brave with NATO behind you...Your post was all loud threats, bully bluster & rotten hypocrisy....sort of like a small dog yapping behind its NATO master.. Without NATO support & dirty EU money, the Albania Mafia state of Kosovo will rot away....The Western masters of Albanian Kosovo are losing their stomach for supporting Albanian gangsters who run drugs & deal in human trafficking .....Kosovo's  total corruption is a complete embarrassment to its EU patrons and eventually will become too costly to financially prop up....Time is on Serbia's side...and the Serbs are patiently waiting for NATO & the EU to dissolve.

There were no Kosovo police, but there were so called "rosa", which is special police of Kosovo consisting of 100% albanians. They were been carried with NATO (America) choppers to the Jarinje. NATO wasn't there to help, it was there on the mission! History sweeping has been done by multinational, or should I say international, organisations. Thus, blurring the history and events that took place in Serbian history, it has started from 1850 till today. Using that Serbian position, not good in any way, many of new recognised nations on ex Yugoslavian territory have benefited enormously! Serbia was at war and had to fight in it, and not single war comes without casualties and collateral damage. Serbia has confronted with it's war wrongdoing. Some of those wrongdoings were pure imagination, and still, Serbia had to take a blame, just like it happend for real. But, once again I say, Serbia had paid that, severely. On the other hand, for war takes two. It seams that no other country had take it's part of wrongdoing. And I do ask: What about Slovenians, Croats, Bosnians and Albanians? Will someone start to investigate in that direction, but for real? (Someone mentioned Macedonians, but obviously not having a knowledge about Macedonian separation from Serbia can write such stupidity...). There is an ocean of proofs, facts, evidences, testimonials..., for proving gilts that only blind enough people could miss to see it. Unfortunately, media brainwash and history sweepers have done a good job, at least it is holding for now. Weak, lame and late responds from Russia is no news for us. It could be because of an article that was not tackled in the proper manner. Right media coverage is of the essence today. So, RT please keep that in mind and straight this story up.

Dear Pedro, if you're used to reading the history of Serbian people, would know that the Serbs lived in Kosovo(in Serbia called Kosovo and Metohija) many centuries ago in the back which can be witnessed monasteries and churches that date from the early thirteenth century.(which is long before discovery of America)So do not believe everything what is said on TV, but a little google search and learn something about the Serbs.First read something, and it is not propaganda, then write and tell something about Serbs.Did you know who are Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin, Milutin Milankovitc, Novak Djokovic,...
On the other hand, to ignore the Serbs and Kosovo, do you think that in Libya really threatened human rights? Did you know that Libya is one of the few countries at the world that have no foreign debts? Do you know how much money was invested in Europe and the West countries(from Lybia 'course)? Did you know that the Libyan is currently the highest quality oil that can exploit? Did you know that Libya governmant paid the education of their students around the world? Did you know that in Libya free health insurance?Did you know that Libya paid foreign workers to do physical works?
