I agreee with Ivars. Latvians should protect their language - Latvia is not Russia!!

What comes to language, it´s certainly the best way to integrate to speak an official language.

You misguided Latvians would be crawling back to Russia if the EU were to collapse.

When in Rome, do as the Romans.

Lat vians have a right to live speak their language in their country. Russians can do the same in their country. If the Russians find it so tough to live in Latvia, nobody is stopping the them from leaving once and for all. We Latvians won't cry without those Russians who refuse to be good citizens and assimilate.

The Russians expect the world to assimilate to their culture and their history of torture and genocide not only in the Baltics, but in Poland, Georgia, and Ukraine.

Smaller languages may be tolerated, but Russian should be the standard language of all Eurasia.

Ignorant. Latvia has no flavor without its Russians.

"Too Dumb," writing that shows only your stupidity. As for WW2 Common foe - Uncommon goal.

The Latvians were also the shock troops of the Bolshevik Revolution.

Latvians worked for Hitlers'SS during WW2. Latvia will never amount to nothing as nation. Too Dumb.
