Dear All Having watched this video, I have to say how lucky this chap was, on youtube I have seen many accidents posted in Russia, and it highlights how much work is needed to be done to ensure safety. Happy things turned out okay. George

How didn't the kamaz driver see the oncoming bus???

He does look like he got hit by the recoil from the hose that was being used by the truck.  The hose springs back and it does appear he looks down at this leg to make sure it is okay.  He was blessed indeed.

@Mike Kridner, that's becasue the bus driver "couldn't" just slam on his break, he has a full load of passengers in his bus, apparantly some elders as well. If he did do that, and slam on the breaks, I bet there will be a lot more injuries on that bus, than one old lady with minor ones.

Most astonishing feature of this video is how calm the man who just almost got killed looks- He acts as though nothing happened. This is very Russian. I think this is part of the Russian character. They know how to cope with disasters.

We have drivers that need the licence cut with scissors too.

It is pretty obious who caused this one (The truck that tried to cross in front of the oncoming buss). Although I am curious as to why the bus didn't appear to try and brake before the impact.
