Well Mr McCartney, wasn't it you who once questioned wether the Russians loved their children too?
So how do your English judges react to severe cases of organized hooliganism?

That was Sting.
Maybe you should read the definition of Hooliganism first.

Just to let you know that Greenpeace is opposing to lots of companies around the globe, including Shell, Cairn Energy, BP, Exxxon, etc. for drilling in the Arctic.

Wha t can you tell about massive oil spills by Gazprom and other russian companies? Your statement is an open prove that most of the people do not know the real truth about what's happening in their own country.

Lolu Lolu said "Please read technical books rather than wiki and gossips from the Internet."

OK. Prirazlomnoye consists of the 30 year old Hutton TLP topsides mounted on top of 120,000 ton of oil containers. And the original Hutton well-heads are not even replaced.

T his joke of an attempt to drill for oil in the unique and unspoiled Arctic has the very real danger of causing the largest ecological oil disaster this planet has ever seen.

Is that better ?

The oil rig that this is all about, called Prirazlomnoye, turns out to be a 30 year old decommissioned North Sea rig (the Hutton TLP), mounted on top of a 25 year old rusted chassis.

Th is joke of a rig.

Th is joke of a rig is mounted on 120,000 ton (close to a million barrels) oil container, so Prirazlomnoye is not just in serious danger of blowing itself up, but since it is located in the Arctic it has the potential of causing the largest ecological/environme ntal catastrophy this planet has ever seen.

Cornelius, they realize the risk and what they do is for mankind. Nonviolent, wearing polar bear suits pirates.

Th ey used a violent protest, pushed a boat of coast guards which is Absolutely NOT allowed under any circumstances, ignored orders of coast guards, violated 500 m safety zone around a dangerous object. This is enough

Cornelius, they realize the risk and what they do is for mankind. Nonviolent, wearing polar bear suits and just trying to make a point. Give them a break. Even Mr. Putin said they are not pirates. Once he gets involved the misunderstanding will get addressed. Green Peace just wants acknowledgment and to get their word out and there is nothing wrong with this. Give them a ticket with time served and give them their property back. They didn't kill anyone, rape or steal. Public opinion has a lot of pull.
