You want a movie-like story that is possible to happen in this scenario:  Russia, Belarus & Ukraine send warships & jet fighters on the seas of Libya and demand the release of their nationals.  If the rebel government, refused, start bombarding Libya again.  NATO, US & Arab-league can do nothing for sure.  If this happens, the former Libyan Army who are only outside-around Libya can seize the oppurtunity to strike back on the rebels.  How I feel sorry for the once richest African country now turned into rubble and no functioning government.

basicaly russia watched the destruction of lybia and did nothing. i feel sorry for the lads, but russia has to show up some b4lls and not complaining their role in the lybian war. my thoughts and prayers  are to these detainees. you wont be getting a better judgement than you would from kahdafi regime. russia should have gotten involved in february 2011, not now ... its a bit too late isnt it ???

Rapid Somaliazation of Libya. They were jailed by a court run by a militia gang, the judicial system in Libya is non existent for now, there is no functioning central govt but disparate groups who takeover Airports and facilities at will roaming about with their NATO supplied weapons which is in excess and being moved to Syria rebels.  They are jailed for attacking NATO bombers destroying Libyan lives and properties, someday when Libya regains its lost glory, these men will be given medals of honour, mark this words.

Let's look at this from a different perspective. Mercenaries are individuals paid to come to a country by a government to do a job. Rebels are individuals from that country that opposes that government. If the Rebels lost that civil war...they would be sentenced to death. However, in this instance, the Rebels won. Should the only punishment be imprisonment. If so...they are being shown leniency. The winners get to write the history!

NO...they dont look like murderers...just people who sell service to air missiles...thats all.....and someone said...they worked for a legit company...how come they didnt leave during the war?  They were selling weapons!  and got caught...plain and simple...it happens..even to old men who should be better at this stuff....I feel bad for their family..but not them.

and yea its funny....because to Russians....they never do this stuff...but history is funny.

How convenient to accuse these "mercenaires" of doing exactly what? They sure do look like murderers in their 50's, don't they? Gaddafi was a criminal? Says who? ICC - who is accusing Gaddafi's son for failure to obtain a permit for his camels? That's it?
NONSENSE!
Is Al-Qaeda caught yet that operated in Libya before destroying the country into shambles? That's the question... And the answer - Al-Qaeda is now in Syria...
