Russia's Foreign Minister wants Hamas to be involved in the Middle East peace process. Sergey Lavrov is in Berlin for an international conference on the situation in the Palestinian territories. Discussions are focusing on providing funding to the Palesti
Hamas can only be part of any peace process when and only when the Hamas terrorist denounces terrorism, destruction of Israel, and reconizes Israel's right to exist in peace! peace is and always will be impossible with hamas periiod!
Joke! Mahmoud Abbas not being gifted as a sound diplomat and for his own power thirsty ambition has ignored Hamas who won the Election in 2006 or 2007, I am not sure! He removed the Palestinian Ambassador His Excellency Afif Safieh from his office just 2 days ago. Without sound thinking his order to hunt down Hamas supporters by killing them with his group of alFatah he is not going to achieve much. This is regrettable. He should come to his senses!
There can only be peace when Israel stops it's ruthless attacks on Gaza. No one can blame Palestine for retaliating when Israel is free to bomb their homes and cut off supplies.
We love you russia. Russia is a natural ally to all arabs/muslims.
I find it somewhat ironic that Russian politicians are giving worldly advice given the state of conditions within Russia itself. Just about everyone knows what's going on in Russia and how the government quiets any and all dissent. The ongoing deaths of journalists continues. The Moscow police department are corrupt and under control, unable to find any perpetrators. As for including Hamas in the Palestinian situation; sure, why not. The thing is, usually, when your at a peace table, you lay down your arms. If memory serves me, my recollection is that Isreal attacked Gaza because of incoming rocket fire. In fact though I'm not a supporter of Israel, it seems to me that the only times they have attacked someone, has been in retaliation to them being attacked. Of course my mid-east friends will bring up past instances of injustice. There has been enough injustice on both sides to both parties. Ghandi pointed out that an eye for an eye mentality resulted in a profusion of blind men. The past only exists if you continue to live in it. Mark a date and have everyone on both sides swear an oath to whatever they believe in, that violence will not be accepted, period. Deport or exile those that violate this. Send them to Siberia.

there will only be peace in Russia if independent Chechenya is formed. makes as much sence as your story on middle east
