A spectacular fireworks display provided the final salute at Victory Day festivities in Moscow, commemorating 64 years since the victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
I only saw a little of the Victory Day but what I did see was fantastic, just like the old days. We had nothing like that in our country but you knew all about the war and so you enjoy the Victory.
-+soviet sacrifices ensured victory over facism. you should be very proud!!!!!
While having dinner with my children and grandchildren I never forgett the day December 14 1944 when I was liberated by the Red Army.It was in the Karpatian Mountains in thje village of Byste where I was hiding from the Fascist .It was the soldiers of the 4th Ukrainian Front who got there in due time. On that date a sunday I was standing on a mountain road seeing three soldiers descending from a distance I could not tell if they were Russian or Fascists but as they came closer I notest they where holding P.P.Sh submashine guns and not Schmeissers. (I started to beleive that maybe a miracle was happening)as they came even closer I saw the red star on their fur hat-so I became shure they must be russian) than I dared to come out to hug and kiss them. They were razvedchiki and left in a hurry but shortly after many many Russians army descended and took possesion of the area.If any of these three are still alive I want to send them my best regards and love cause they saved my life. The middle of the three angels that came down was a woman.

what a fireworks display that is better than the 4th of july
