As a firefighter in London, I was part of an investigation team attending the suicide of a young mother who leapt from the 20th floor of her apartment block. Her husband was in prison and her children were not involved. This desperate conclusion to a percieved as inescapable situation is, in my opinion, symptomatic of mental illness. The woman in this case in Russia is in the same position, though her actions took took a different turn. She should be looked after, because when she regains her mental health, and realises what she has done, she may well try to kill herself as well. Social pressures may reflect political situations, but the vulnerable, the poor, the ill educated, always suffer first, and worst.

I hope this case is just an outrageous exception.
In neghboring countries of Russia, Russian women have the reputation of being excellent wifes and mothers. My mother recommends-me to find and marry a Russian woman since I was teenager (more than 20 yrs. ago).
Regretable story anyway.

Maybe she sold them and everyone including the social are in on it but the dad. They managed to put the story in the news to make it real. Lucky my son is in a nice town....:)

Two young bright sons of Russia lost before they could serve the motherland. I felt deep sadness. What are you talking about? What motherland, what sons of Sussia?? We no longer have such definitions after the end of the Soviet union. Everybody care only for themselves here.
As for the mother, how could you judge her when you never have been in her place ? I know exactly what real despair is, and you could do anything in this condition.

Its God's fault. God made it so that having sex will make a person, or two, feel good. God is the fundamental source of evil here. He is the one who made this possible. You know its true. If the God didn't make the human body behave the way it behave this tragedy would have been avoided. God made it, know it and still did it. There. I said it. @Charlie, this has NOTHING to do with feminism.  Besides, us feminists are typically the ones that have been treated horribly by males and have to somehow support themselves in a male-oriented world. Feminism is our only survival.  Children are only as good as they are useful, lest I lose mine when they are called "useless eaters," as I have been.  That was one of the stupidest things Obama has done.  What happens when there's that kind of competiton?  We kill the productive members of society to take their place.  I'm young. What she did was completely wrong, and the justification she gave were typical vaginal justification in the hope that many many BEST douches can fall for her stupid story. What she did WAS WRONG, there was no justification for it, SHE DESERVES THE DEATH PENALTY PERIOD. And Yes, Sarah was right, women are not angels, and men are not deveils, infact women can be much much worst & sinnester than men, and men can be even kinder & more merciful than women.  I have seen some stupid comments about the "culture". I have 2 daughters in my life, one of my own and one of my wifes who is Russian. From my experience I can say that Russian women are far from lacking when it comes to children. This woman is an abberation.   

Because of the so-called "financial problems'' she is facing with, this WOMAN, (Is she qualified to be called a "HUMAN"), murdered her kids in such a monstrous and unimaginable manner?! Oh, my... At times I think women can act much more horribly than men. Their crimes are really immeasurable by normal standards. This is not the first horrifying case committed by a female I read on the internet. May the two poor boys rest in peace.

Ya it hurts deep down to see lose of youths, but it is equally shameful that this women's life, and culture has driven her mind to such a state of misery and such low regard for life. Please don't condemn her to hell, as wrong as her actions were, she is already in it.

I cry reading this article.......I feel that the mother only deserves what she did to those two innocent loving children. if you feel that you dont need your children any more , give them away, there are millions of people who would take them in a second. To HELL with this woman. how dare you throw your children away, its you that needs to leave this earth...May God take those children straight to heaven.....
