Irina Belenkaya, the Russian mother accused of kidnapping her daughter from her French ex-husband, has been released from custody by prosecutors in France.
Meslin, I am glad you favour letting the law prevail. This is great support for the proper way of doing things via the law, instead of a jungle approach, favoured by others. I also 100% agree with you that law must be done and not politics. Let's hope France can deliver on law. It would be a good day for everyone.
It is tragic when children become victims of thier parents indifference to the child feelings, can't humans sort out thier differences without effecting children lives.
Has anyone asked the child what she wants?

As I wrote previously, in that sad affair the main victime is Liza and the second victime is Irina, the mother. If this lady is free and not allowed to leave France; what will she do ? It seems to me that the russians autorities did not seize the franco-hungarian connivence and furbery. The whole affair has become a political ambroglio, in which the little Liza's interests were completly forgotten. Nevertheless, she was born in Moscow; her mother was russian and never considered unfeat to rise her child. For Russia, she is her full citizen and deserve to be protected in that respect. The russian autorities did not grab the cynical and calculated hidden motives of their two opponents (France and Hungary). For such opportunistic creeps, a 3 years old girl's happyness mean nothing. I don't take Jean-Michel Andre in consideration; because just watching him on television or riding some of his comments; for me, he is nothing but an idiot, certain to be hated by his daugther in a few years. Nevertheless, unless the french justice does not get influenced by politique and allow mother and daugther to return to Russia (with legal righs to visits for the father), russians autorities will not have done their job properly. In such a case the political ambroglio is evident. To become roi de France, the cynical machiavelic man that we have installed at the Elysee-Palace will do anything to insure his ego and his preponderence. His hungarian "bourgeoisie" descent make him beleive to have blue blood and being above every one of us (like a Romanov). Logically, we should not have to mix such a banal affair with politique but in the actual degraded moral climat in France, each event can be used on purpose. Sad Reality. Sorry Future Generations ! Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin
