‘Russian pre-emptive strike on ABM shield 'unjustified’ – NATO chief
May 04, 2012 17:29
NATO’s chief has called Russia’s threat of a pre-emptive strike on European missile defense systems ‘unjustified’. But while NATO maintains the ABM shield won’t threaten Russia, Moscow demands they back their words with legally-binding guarantees.

"Russian pre-emptive strike on ABM Shield unjustified".
Mr Rasmusse, please stop bleating. Be a gentleman and a good fellow and remove the ABM missiles from European soil. This is how war starts, fear and aggressive moves. This is no longer the Soviet era, we do not threaten you so don't point a dagger in my face. And I won't have to shoot you with Kalashnikov in my coat pocket. Be a good chap now and lower that dagger and put it away ... Now .. isn't it better to be friends?
This missile system is not against Russia but it will be when its finished against Russian intrests. For example Iran.Russia does not want Iran attacked. These war talk from US is just talk to justify the sanctions against Iran.I think that the European part of the shield is meant to protect Europe or Nato against missiles from Iran or Middle east when US will attack those countries.Because US will attack Iran but not now. They will attack them when the shield is in place even if Iran will have Nukes. They will be primitive compared with the ABM US plans to deploy. The bottom line is US will attack Iran in couple of years when the shield is finished. These US shield is not defensive at all.

Let's be real here and not kid ourselves any longer. Right or wrong, if Russia attacks those missile sites, we all know what Nato's response will be. Russia will be vaporized, along with the West and pretty much anything that's still living will soon die from the fallout. I cannot believe the comments I have been reading.
ha.. . if Russia really do a pre-empt strike on the ABM you think they won't be monitoring if there are more nuclear launching across the world?... I think if Russia really do determines to attack, it will go all out and vaporize everything that is anywhere near the word NATO... Unless NATO don't act after the strike, then maybe, the whole thing may be avoided. At that point of the game, there is only two scenarios. One, Russia launch and destroys the ABM and NATO do nothing. Or Russia launch, Nato then launch, Russia then find Nato launch so Russia send every single nuke all over Nato countries...
@Norwegen, ROFLMAO. ...sigh, now my sides ache. There are yanks that refrain from commenting at this site, thereby leaving doubt as to their double digit I.Q.'s.............. .then, there's Norwegen. Ahhh, the fascist States of America and their arrogantly ignorant/rabid dog citizenry.

Long live the Unites States of America!!!Apple, Ford, F-35's, New York City, California,Prosperit y!!!YOU CANT TOUCH US!
Yeah for how long??? Apple Never created JOBS in the USA. Outsource the JOBS to CHINA. Apple puts MONEY in BANKS that are OUT of the USA. Dont PAY TAXES like Microsoft. Ford Motor company (did not recieve bail out) Mafia dont want to show accounting BOOKS.New York BANKRUPT. California BANKRUPT ALSO!!!! ha ha hah ha
Nothing signed sealed and delivered is equal to zero agreement so until a written and signed agreement is made it is normal and pure common sense to keep all options open,
Go on Rasmussen! Don't let those vodka drinking jew haters threaten the security of Europe. At the end of ww2 Stalin and the other leaders of the Soviet Union should have been put on trial along side the Nazi's... It was after all the Soviet-Nazi non-aggression pact that started the war! Maybe if the communist had been overthrown back than Russia would have been more friendly today and not be living with this Cold War mentality and that the West is the enemy... Since we Westerners don't see Russia as a military threat or political threat, Russia is the new sick man of Europe, just a shadow of its former strength.
BS! If N. Korea setting up a space missle was unacceptable and it was totally cool to sanction them, then USA setting up multiple "defence" missles is just as unacceptable and taking them out is totally fine.
no need say that america is the only terrorist and their jewish godfathers. They are the identity of threat humanity. No country and their people living happy and peacefull life surrounded by america.
after cooperating its US in the driving seat and they are not obliged by any condition to give up their control. if any conditions to be stipulated it should be done before cooperation.
Of course Russia is right and justified to keep its options open. NATO/USA/ and the other big Zionist Monster Israel are obviously planning no good in the future. The whole missle shield project aimed against an imaginary enemy, Iran, which exists only in the self-serving imagination of the Zioniet savages, is a total waste on billions of dollars, for what? Hey man when is humanity going to wake up, people are starving, people want peace not war...when will there be a revolution of world "people power" to kick out all the present government war mongers monsters?

-------- -------------------- ---------Steve, you think Russia's best weapons are only slingshots? Wow, which planet do you live on, next time take the pink pill and not the white before you write a comment.
The United States and NATO cannot be trusted. Any agreement with them, concerning the deployment and purpose of the European missile defense system, would be a waste of Russia's time. Moscow must concentrate on the nation's defenses, and at the same time, do everything it can to strengthen the economy.
