20.03.2014 09:46

I think its stupid of the western Ukrainians to go trash factories when they have such high unemployment already and such a lack of funds in the governrnent. I would have served all better to let the minority and majority stakeholders fight their battle in court - assumig such an institution still exists in Ukraine. Destroying production facilities for export products is about the stupidest thing to do.

The first thing fascist thugs do in their anarchy state is head to the vodka factory... typical...

Crimea possesses 8 natural gas fields both onshore and offshore. The republic also possesses 2 oil fields: one onshore, the Serebryankse oil field in Rozdolne, and one offshore, the Subbotina oil field in the Black Sea. Maybe this is why Russia cares so much.

Just because America doesnt care about its indigenous population - the native Americans - doesnt mean others dont. The US and Australia tried cleansen its indigenous population while Putin is protecting his.

Nobody control Maidan thugs, at least not current "interim" rulers. Will there ever be less unsavory ones? I don't hear anything about coming election.

There will be NO election - EU does not like election, they'd rather the PUT in place their puppets.Their preferred guys - Yats and Klitchs - can not win any election - look at their polling numbers from most recent election. Yanukovych is no saint but the people keep voting him as the lesser of the evils.

Chris Higgins 20.03.2014 19:22

It is simply anarchy and grabbing what they can. The Ukrainians did this when the USSR left. Same thing different faces. Although RT might glam this up a bit it is what Ukraine is like anyway. No one has respected the police for years.

The last act of a failed state - looting the country.

Макс С. 20.03.2014 18:51

The more the west keeps supporting these thugs the more they become full of themselves and become more and more dangerous thinking nothing can stop them.

Zlatan 20.03.2014 18:27

Attacking a vodka factory is a crime against humanity. No, I'm not joking.

Zlatan 20.03.2014 18:25

They are ready for EU now.

The Monk 20.03.2014 17:53

Maidan Troops are who? I see 2 types of uniforms in the pictures. No different than what I saw in Crimea lately. Why do I believe anything I read in RT on Ukraine? Goebbels is down there laughing with glee with every distortion made by RT. If you repeat a lie often enough...people will start to believe it!!

RT is setting the stage for another Russian land grab. @Conserv POV sounds like a Kremlin apologist or paid poster who is laying the ground work for another Russian intercession.

No country has a 100% batting average. They all make mistakes. Russia is on the wrong side of international opinion here.

The Monk 20.03.2014 17:44

@Conser Pov- Are you espousing ethnic purity of ALL countries. If so, Russia is in big trouble along it's fringe especially Chechnya.

T he dog and pony show of calling everyone Fascists who are against Russia went out with Stalin. By your numbers, there must be a lot of Fascists in the Ukraine then. Or...are only Russian speakers non-Fascists???

Interesting Geography lesson..Where did Crimea meet Russian territory prior to its annexation???
Answer, NOWHERES

Were the thugs speaking Ukrainian, as all fascists do?

That 's tricky.

Wes tern MSM falsely depicts Ukraine as some sort of distinct ''Ukrainian nation'' with inclusion of a separate Russian minority.

B ut the fact is, 99% of Ukrainians speak Russian, 45% primarily use Russian, and 80% of those who speak ''Ukrainian'' in fact speak Russian with heavy southern rural accent.

''R eal'' Ukrainian is characterized by partial Russian to German, Polish or Hungarian word substitution. Most even hardcore ''nationalists'' struggle with it.

They do yell Nazi slogans.

Nemiroff - the top vodka I adore :(

Thomas Silverboerg 20.03.2014 14:47

It IS the best Vodka/Gorilka one can get. I guess you could call it an important 'natural resource'...

Yes, and this is the same reason why the US overthrew elected government.

If the US cannot make its economy work for the better with everything it has right now, then it will never make life better for its citizens if it expands NATO further.

Oh great, society is crumbling around you and the best thing they can think to do is getting drunk and destroying property.

sverlov 20.03.2014 13:33

Great video. Proves the truth. But, next time, the videographer may want to ease up on the steadycam. Shaky, handheld, reportage would add a little more authenticity and danger ti the overall gestalt.

One question. Were the thugs speaking Ukrainian, as all fascists do?
