I am appalled that our (I did not ever cast a vote for them) Senior officials would allow this type of interogation to take place. Since all authorizations lead back to the Office of the Vice President and President and Sec of Defense Rumsfeld as well as all of the lawyers that wrote the legal-eze to justify this inhumane treatment of other humans...I am all for offering them (the authors of this policy) up to the hands of those that were allowed to employee these barbaric tactics. Then ask them what constitutes torture!

This is war folks, the brutal realities, the torture, the rapes, the killings, the oppression. Surprise, surprise it happens in all armies, in all wars. Not quite the Hollywood scene is it, not quite in line with the armchair generals on the blogs, who want war after war, who argue extremism and hate, who want some revenge or another wish satisfied. Not quite in line with the activities of the intelligence services, who are training and funding terrorist after terrorist. No this is the real sharp end, the woman raped, the child shot, the son tortured. We shouldn't hide this, we should show it to the world, it would help turn more people away from sick notions of war, that there is advantage, that there is a gain in resources. That there is some political gain involved. No we should focus people on defence, on deterrence, to prevent this carnage in the first place. For Russia this means effective complete Nuclear deterence, to unflict catastrophic unacceptable damage on a NATO or US aggressor. Only then can we live in peace. Notions of disarming, will just reap the rape, the torture, the oppression above. No wonder there is such a rush for Nuclear weapons, without them, you are just available for rape, torture, killing and exploitation.

i believe that the men and women supporting our counrty are going through rough times away from there homes and some may just be losing there minds. It is not exceptitable for anyone to be doing the things that were said or supposely shown in the photographs. It is disgusting. Also note if anyone wants this war of terror to be over than the first thing is not do horrible things as was said.

Time and again Obama has proven that he is going to let the people who were truly responsible for these outrages get away scot free. As long as the lawyers of the Bush administration go unpunished, the Constitution is not the law of the land.

I am truly apalled at the thought of our government condoning this type of behavior (then again it is government). Its war and Its ugly is no excuse to lose your humanity. This type of abuse is uncalled for, I support the troops and I understand that they are following orders, but this type of behavior is unacceptable across the board, no matter who you are or what your preferences are be it religious, social, racial, or sexual. It is disgusting to say the least of these horrible atrocities. I hope that people in the world out there consider that not all americans think this way or act this way for that matter. I know that I do not live in a very popular country at the moment, but please have sympathy for those of us who never have and never will participate in such behaviors. My hope is that I may someday travel abroad and see other cutures at their hearts and am able to appreciate and understand their differences as well as recognize their similarities. As I read about a Russian Cosmonaut one thing really stood out in my mind that he said, not quoting him but something similar to realising that we are all Human and as humans no matter the culture or differences we are all in this world together. There are more places in the universe to explore and we will never achieve this with the mentality we so far have. I wish that one day we will all be able to see the earth from the same perspective as space explorers and grasp that understanding.

all the other so called rape pictures by American troops have been proven to be altered in some manner or outright fakes. The Americans have been protectors. I believe you will find this to be another example of people trying to smear the military.
