N. Korea used China as conduit for arms export – UN report

June 30, 2012 10:41

There is evidence North Korea exported ballistic missile-related items through China to the Middle East in breach of its sanctions, says a UN report. The document is the result of an ongoing investigation into possible N. Korean arms deals with Syria.

@pato  Actually North Korea does not have the internet, they have an intranet and they cannot look up whatever they like and they cannot verify information or even look at anything that is not directly fed into the intranet.  Besides for the elite, North Koreans live a very difficult and poor life. They based themselves off a Stalinist model and, unlike the USSR, never reformed away from it.  They are a modern day Stalinist style regime and nobody escapes 'into' North Korea, only out if they are lucky.

Red Line For UN Too? (unregistered) 03.10.2012 03:21

So, what's wrong with N Korea using China as a conduit to sell arms? Is there a law against that?  Too many of the UN employees are U.S. agents perhaps.

And if if the UN - as a Secretariat - has no power and responsibility - it should shut up.  It has no right or authority to make any statements in the matter of arms sales, geopolitics, or anything of that sort.  Releasing a reprt in that vein tends to make it a U.S. stooge.  An appendage to provide Washington excuse for justifying whatever criminal acts it undertakes.

Tomasz,

here's a question for die-hard NK fanatics: you all use the internet, for amongst other things visit RT. Would you rather prefer living where you do have internet or would you like to live in NK?
Would you trade in all your freedoms for your communist "cause"?

If so, get the **** out of wherever you live, get a ticket to China and there you can arrange your one-way trip to the paradise of North Korea. There you can starve, be beaten half to death, march along in nice little parades, watch one (yes there is no more and no less than ONE) TV channel they have there... and otherwise do all the other fun things NK is known for.
Come on, I dare you!
you fool. north korea has its own internet, and unlike this one, shills like yourself cant infiltrate it or disturb it. i would be more than glad to trade in this u.s controled internet, for the korean one. at least, i dont have to worry about getting spied on by the cia. i also dont have to worry about the filth, and disinformation that comes with this one. ulike the american version, you can actually look up truthful information on the korean version. north korea, along with Cuba, and Myanmar, are very lucky people to have their own internet, and not have to put up with the brain washing on, like we do on the american version. if i knew how to read korean, and if i had access to the nk version, i'd be on there. i'd also be using their version of linux. i wish more countries would follow in the footsteps of nk

UN is not credible any more.
All honest and peace loving countries should withdraw from UN as soon as possible.
It would encourage many if BRIKS countries would give an example and withdraw first.
UN is backing crimes against humanity by doing absolutely nothig about crimes being continuosly commited by USA, Israel, UK and all NATO member countries.

Unju stified? Let's see now... NK constantly threatens South with forceful "reunification", and has yet to sign at least a protocol ending the war. Right now two nations still are officially at war.
So exactly what can an oppressive, inhumane, warmongering nation led by a family of murderous tubs of lard expect?
Secondly, it is NK - not anyone else - that has jamming towers set up along the border, forbids internet, forbids mobile phones, forbids literature of ANY kind that is not party approved.... do I need to say more?

"and yet you seem to know a lot of their 'stories' are you a traitor?"

No media knew when Kim Jong Il died, but all western media knew all details of his life, what he ate, drank, liked. they even knew he killed his brother for political struggle when he was 3 years old.

The Korean war was the Korean nation's unification war, North Korea has never invaded any country.

Nort h Korea does not ban the use of mobile phones, North Korean mobile phone users have been more than one million, it reported by western media and they think it's useful to make a "spring" in North Korea.

No matter how you&western media uglify North Korea and its leaders, North Korea is getting better day by day.

If the warlike countries should be sanctioned, you should call for imposing sanctions on US, US has killed over 15 millions civilians.

And where's the mention of the CIA illegally providing weapons, explosives at the Turkish border to Syria to the Syria rebels (Al CIAeda) terrorists by the UN?

Further proof the UN has been bought by the USA/Israeli criminal Jewish Mafia syndicate.

Th e UN has investigated and has dozens of completed reports regarding Israeli War Crimes and Israeli Crimes Aganstina Humanity any of which appear to be completely source based, documented and ready for a non-Western Court Tribunal.

The appearance that none of these has been forwarded to a non-Western Court Tribunal and dozens of Satanically evil Zionist leaders of past and present Apartheid Israeli hasn't been charged with War Crimes and are now swinging from the gallows again further appears to prove the UN has been bought by the USA/Apartheid Israeli Crime Syndicate.

Th e blockage of Palestine being fully recognized as a State by the entire UN Assembly is yet another alleged proof the UN has been bought by the USA/Apartheid Israeli Crime Syndicate. It has been pointed out that International Laws would additionally add HUNDREDS of additional War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity against Apartheid Israeli officials if a State of Palestine were additionally 'recognized'.

This current status of non-State is not going to last, with every day more nations recognize the Palestinian State and the end of Apartheid Israel's evil regime of oppression and Satanical evil.

Why should we here in New Zealand have sanctions placed on us??? most of us don't like the American govt,...we can't help it that our primeminister is a lackey of the Bilderberger's,..and he won't be around much longer anyway. So how bout you justify why we are the bad guys.

Sanctions against North Korea must be lifted without any preconditions attached to it. Why for God's sake the good people NK have to suffer? I deeply regret that my country took part in war against North Korean  (1950–1953).

No I am just well educated on the subject, also I am someone who spits and wiped his behind on you and your holy family of sickly obese dictators, because that is the least such inhumane tyrants deserve.

"how can we  trust someone that sell his soul and country to the devils?"

Don' t use so many religious terms, the Party may just think you are a religious person and have you executed for your beliefs. Unless you believe in Jesus Jong-Un Christ, then it's OK. In fact its mandatory.

"Is it a fact that NKorea have long ago acquired Nuclear technology which worth billions and saleable like hot cakes?"

You tell me. Many people believe the nuclear "test" was fake HE pile, but that does not matter. People in NK live in far worse conditions any nuclear blast can create, at least a nuclear warhead is indiscriminate and does not arrest your family and have them executed because you don't like it.

"My opinion, a fat person can mean he is healthy and doesn't abuse his body. Wake up!"

Are you a medical docotor? If not, read up on obesity. Everyone from old fat Sung, to modern fat Un have necks wider than their heads, in a country that has a population SHORTER than their neigbors because of malnourishment.
N oone would really care how fat or thin they were if their gluttonous personalities would not be responisble for that much hunger.

Y ou use the name "devil", well here's one for you: he has the world's largest collection of Western movies, he is the single largest private importer of Henessey alcolhol, he loves everything western... guessed the name? Kim Jong Il.
Now tell me again about the die-hard idealism DPRK stands for.
