For your information Kosovo had a 98% Serbian population until the great exodus of Serbs in the 17th century and even then Serbs stayed a massive Majority. Phisical proof can be found in Ottoman tax books. In ww2 under the guidence of Natzis Albanians tried to ethnicly cleanse Serbs from the region. 

On the other hand Albanians have the highest birth rate in the entire World and there is still in total 1/3 of them less than Serbs. And mind that in 2 world wars Serbs lost 2 million people out of 5 and that today we have a negative birth rate. Albanians had no major death counts because they bowed to whoever was wining. 
So tell me how exacly was Kosovo historicly Albanian?

   &n bsp;   The present predicament of Serbians in Kosovo has its roots far back in 1999, when the impotent government of Boris Yeltsin could not prevent the bombardment of Serbia proper by NATO. Yeltsin's envoy Chernomedyn was so pathetic to say the least. It's indeed true that Russia was then so weak economically.   ;   & nbsp;  Currently, one might however, ask Serbians: How do you expect Russia to be of great help to fellow Serbians in Kosovo when you elect a bunch of unpatrotic people, ever willing to sell every 'family jewel' Serbia has, in its insatiable ques t to join the European Union, to lead your your country? Your present leaders seem not to care so much about the vulnerability of Serbians in Kosovo! 

If you serbs looked forward instead of looking back 500 years, you will see that if there is no problems between Kosovo and Serbia they will both get in to EU faster, then there will be no border anyway.Good luck with the road blocks as they only affect you, KFOR is moving everything with helicopters, you are isolating yourselves even more.Take a look at Gracinica in Pristina, they have accepted the situation and lead normal lives, you see serbs in Pristina every day going about normal business, i know this because i live here. Kosovo is independent, fact, this will never change so adapt to it and enjoy life, it is easier to work with people than against them.

Seceding Kosovo is as smart as seceding the so-called Sudeten Lands (also a grievous misnomer) from Czechoslovakia in 1938. And today's EU is what France and Great Britain were in 1938 at the time of the Munich dictate. But this time don't expect from that side any Churchill. Fascism is returning. A Czech World War II hero, Julius Fucik, who was executed by the Nazis, and whose monuments were destroyed and removed in the Czech Republic after 1989, had these last words to say: "People, stay awake ... don't close your eyes." (slightly paraphrased) Whole nations have become sleeping sheep.

Can you please stop with usage of name Kosovars when talking about Albanians , and when mentioning Serbs ( who are Kosovars on the same ground ) you simply say Serbs. This happened before in Bosnia, when Muslims where referred as Bosnians. This way it looks like Serbs are some kind of new comers and that they have no place in,  so called, Kosovars and Bosnians countries. Just to remind you that Serbs were there for couple of hundreds of years...

My Russians! There's nothing that can be done with regards to Serbs that are now trapped&nbs p;in Northern Kosovo. There's border now between Serbs, which is enforced by NATO. We Serbs are destined for extermination and ethnic cleansing regardless of what we do and don't do. 200 000 Serbs left Kosovo as refugees since "merciful angel " intervention of NATO on behalf of Albanians. It has been decided by NATO, that whole of Kosovo, cradle of Serbian nation now  belongs to ethnic Albanians and Serbia can not do anything about it. NATO is just waiting for even smallest move of Serbia to try to help it's citizens and it is ready to smash Serbia with all of it's might. Such force would be arguably overwh elming even for my brothers Russians to fight let alone us Serbs. Furious wars in Europe were waged for hundreds of years for territory&n bsp;and no nation in the world would be calm if someone takes it's territory. Europe correctly recognised it must unite in order to avoid more wars between nations and look what they are doing to us now. It hurts not just because of territory, but my fellow Serbs are now trapped with this artificial border between Serbs. We don't want war, but looks like someone is doing everything they  can to provoke us to make incidents. Hitler offered Kosovo to Albanians in WW2 as punishment for Serbia refusing pact with him and as we can see idea is still alive, but now for some other reasons. Unfortunately we are lost this time as I can see.  And my Russian brothers, just one more thing... Prepare yourselves. After we are gone there's another battle that's coming. History repeats itself. In order to conquer Russia all previous generals, emperors and madmans had to destroy Serbia first to take their main prize... Hope peace will prevail&nb sp;otherwise this might be sunset of humanity on this beautiful& nbsp;but savage planet called Earth.

Sadly as much as I love my Russian brothers they have not really done much strategically to assist Serbia. We are a small country who's current government has sold its people and fear NATO reprisals if we take up arms. Again the only thing that will get NATO and the world to stop this grab of our Soveriegn lands is the presence of the Russian forces otherwise these diplomatic skirmishes will never get us anywhere. Make the move if you truely stand by Serbia otherwise give up with the words. The people are tired Mr Konuzin and President Medvedev. As a Serb I can only say that without mother Russia's military presence Serbia and Russia will lose strategic ground in Europe and lead to more heartache for the remaining few orthadox Serbs left in the Kosovo region. My fear is once the Albanian Kosovars move in they will complete their ethnic cleansing and whats left of Serbia will perish in the years to come. Concerned Serb abroad.

  I apologize to all my Serbian friends and brothers on what my country (USA) did to you. It stole your holy traditional lands to give to the Islamic terrorists and human trafficking Albanians.   It was not fair.  I suspect it is part of USA/Zionist plot. Please Russia, help your Serbian brothers! Long live the kingdom of Serbia! Praise to Arkan and the other brace heroes and freedom fighters!

"Gazi" - For the words you have written everybody in ex-YU can know that you was not military staff. Maybe you were, but like a spy for NATO and their allies. Yugoslavia tried to make Albanians reasonable for decades, but they were since hostile, buying Serbian property every time they can and making hostile atmosphere for non-Albanians. Also Tito permitted Serbian refugees to come back to the region of Kosovo and Metochia after II World War. So forget all those stupidities. If Albanians or Shiptars have just one gram of  brains in their mind they would remain to live with Serbians from beginning. Shiptars in Kosovo and Metochia lived much better then those in Albania for decades and they used every opportunity to come to live here from Albania. And now they even want their own state. At least pay everything what Yugoslavia invested into your pathetic communities and these are dozens of billions of euros.

The serbian gov is supporting the blockage of the roads in Kosovo however the serbian police with order from the same gov has intervened on attempts to block roads in serbia itself, now what a hypocrite government isnt it?




this man is right... however, there is a thing he does'nt know... we the Serbs have been lied to, by the gov who is pro eu, they told us we will get eu and kosovo... but, the truth is we wont get any... by the time Serbia becomes a member of eu, I belive eu will collapse by itself... please, if there is anyone smart in Russia (and I belive there is), dont give up on Serbia... you are the only hope this people have, I know its not shown much, but the gov controls the media, and they have strict&nbs p;orders from the occupationa l gov... 

Why is it like this? Our government is kissing  for joining EU, and lying to us, people of Serbia that they're doing everything to protect our integrity. In 2001 Kosovo was 66% ethnic Albanian, now it's 92%.

Let's go back to Tito's time, there weren't not even 10% before Tito "let them in". If he just knew this would happen…
Anyway, it is how it is.  China and Russia don't want to get involved because it would lead to WWIII and NOBODY wants that. This way, they don't have any losses (nor wins) regarding Kosovo territory. I'm being a bit sceptical regarding new so-called state. It already is a big US military base. Serbia wouldn't let this to happen, and even if we've got whole territory back, US ain't gonna stand still while we tell them, leave our territory, take your bases, army and go!

I'm being scared of WWIII bound to happen. US is preparing nearest possible base to Russia. And who will suffer future Russian attacks (if they happen)? Serbian people, it's all on our soil.

Freakin US,  EU and the rest of  money motivated government.
I'm sad that we live in a world like this. Freakin' guns and violence… Who likes that except people in their villas controlling all of this? We're just all one big pile of pions being manipulated…< BR>
