Notaries Chief shot dead near Moscow

The President of the Moscow region Chamber of Notaries has been shot dead in a small town near the Russian capital. The bodies of Vladimir Chelyshev and his driver were found in the entrance to an apartment block in Solnechnogorsk.
The men were shot in the head at around 21.00 local time on Thursday.
Police suspect the murder was a contract killing connected with Chelyshev’s professional activity.
A criminal investigation has been launched.
