Aimed at nuclear program, sanctions hit Iran’s nuclear families

May 19, 2012 07:22

Iran has been under sanctions for 33 years. The most recent round targeted not only oil export, bank transfers and researcher visas, but also food and consumer goods. Young Iranians say the measures are even affecting their chances of tying the knot.

What about an Israeli Spring .....just to prove that Israel is the "democracy" she claims tobe.....and let`s see Soros and the CIA and the BBC and Murdoch in Israel "reporting" it .............with the same enthusiasm they show for "reporting" springs in nations with governments that Israel does not like?

RT is more and more sounding like a third-hand extension of the ministry of propaganda of the West, especially when it comes to Western fear and hate mongering against Iran.
I think you need to re-read the article again. Is a report about Iranian opinions ,Someare very positive about it and welcome the sanctions others no so. Last thing people needs is Media imposing their view on readers and, completely one side reports like is Western Main stream media.  Is not about RT this article but about how iranians feels about their situation. i think RT did a great Job. Never knew that their opinion is not united about their nuclear program. Even if ignorance is playing a role.. is always positive to know how they think.

It`s just another way of bringing about regime change.
Israel is not satisfied with having its own nuclear arsenal ......and interfering through it`s CIA/Mossad ......and NATO....... and its puppets in the so called democracies of the Western World....and Soros...and the Christian Churches....and the entire global Media....the global "free market"...etc.
Pl ease yourselves Israel but surely you should  be starting a hasty global CHARM OFFENSIVE in the hope of surviving...... rather than doing everything you can possibly do to become the first major casualty of a self-inflicted World War 3 ?

RT is more and more sounding like a third-hand extension of the ministry of propaganda of the West, especially when it comes to Western fear and hate mongering against Iran. Specifically disgusting is RT shedding its crocodile tears for Iran and the Iranians on the behest of its Western minders and presenting the tears as a justification for its propaganda…Histori cally, Iran has always been under sanctions by the evil West long before there was an Islamic Republic governing the country and even longer before Iran had a nuclear program. The West has always viewed Iran as a competitor and doing all in its evil power to harm Iran and the Iranians using every tool available to it. The tool has included outright military attacks, political coercion, sabotage, assassination, fifth column activity, economic oppression, forced technological isolation and prevention. The list can go on indefinitely…The imposition of the corrupt ruling monarchy on Iran in the Mid Twentieth Century in a bloody CIA engineered military takeover of the country was only one example of the evil West’s use of force against the Iranian Nation. Further violent events that have followed have been merely manifestations of the same evil and how the lawless West is always ready to engage in criminality against Iran…Given the history of the outlaw West against the Iranian Nation, it is, to say the least, buffoonish of RT to so ignorantly continue beating the drum of the so called “nuclear program” for the evil West, to give the evil and its present excuses for evil against Iran a voice, hoping to gain it legitimacy by merely repeating the Western lies…Considering its own namesake, RT, must be fully aware where Iran finally got the required technological assistance to establish its first steel processing operations and when! Otherwise, it was the Soviet Union that provided the means at the time that the Western owned monarchy the West had imposed on Iran still ruled the country! Thus, is RT intelligent enough to ask how come? Why did not the West that had Iran as its frontline against the USSR help Iran to have steel mills? After all, it was only steel and not uranium processing operations for its most friendly regime in the world….Maybe now that it knows how to ask questions first, RT will stop playing laky to the West, hopefully…

What is sadly missing in almost all reports like this one is that the problems mentioned and encountered, tho true, are typical of city life and should not automatically be assumed by the reporters and audiences that they are national. Iran's metropolitan life style constitutes 1/3, rural/fishery 1/3, and the other 1/3 of the population fluid. But as is in almost every country, the city dwellers are the most demanding and the loudest that their needs must top the national priorities.  And I believe that is why the UN as the future government of the world has formulated their so called Universal Charter of the Human Rights to fit the needs of the city dwellers. There is not one item in the thirty items of the charter that appeals to nomads. No reporter knows how, when, and where to intercept a seasonal moving nomadic tribe, freely exercising their life styles for thousands of years, to ask them if the traveling school teachers for their kids, if the mobile clinics stationed every few miles on their routes are helping them, or what other problems they have. No body is interested in fish farmers' or corn groweres' lives. It is normally the young city dwellers who nag about their difficulties getting a visa so they can leave and use the free education they got thru college for some body else for a fraction of what they deserve.

Its just  horrifying  and shocking how incredible ignorant are some iranians that choose to leave his country to work in the west.. blaming all in his country for the sanctions. IRAN is an enemy from the west simply for  nationalizing their Oil industry. If wasn't for IRANian revoulution for independence she will had to study something else like how to clean floors  or how to be a farmer. If Saudi Arabia is an example she will not even drive a car or go outside.  no universities with any modern programs of any class. How irony ,she could develop herself and be someone that could get a prestigious job in the outside thanks to the things she complain their country did. .  Since the west block the development of any country they feel is a danger to them. As if was told earlier in the article.. US promote complete dependence on them and buy every technology or basic thing from them. How disgusting can be the greed of empires. Fact is IRAN have been under sanctions with and without nuclear program. if they didn't had a nuclear program the sanctions will be exactly the same as today for another excuse. like for using electricity or flying planes. Their nuclear program is just a pretext for the sanctions and reason is.. Israel is afraid on Iran becoming too powerful in the zone. and they don't like competition , so they push for more sanctions to delay any possible progress and development of any country in the zone. How ridiculous to ask his country to stop modernizing so they can be friends with th west.Lets see how she thinks once her fiance kicks her maybe Love blinds her.
Better to be free and independent and live with dignity , than to be a slave.

She has a fiancé in the US, and is planning to move there. She is well aware that it is difficult for a scientist involved in fundamental research to get a visa to a Western country. But instead of blaming the West for putting pressure on Iran, she blames the regime for having a poor relationship with the West.

It says a lot for Iranian perseverance and determination that they are managing to uprate and design weapons for the defence of Iran and look after the population at the same time.Over the past 3000YRS Irans population has made major discoveries in all fields but hasnt been given the "PRAISE" for them. That a country can come this far with all these heavy sanctions deserves PRAISE

After all difficulties comes ease, surely IRAN you will feel the hit but at the end you will have a course to thank ALLAH, i remembered the time of our noble Prophet (S.A.W) when the pagans of Macca imposed sanction on the few muslims for 3 years nobody buys or sells to them(things went very hard), but at the end Allah's help came and all problems disappeared.

the whole world knows that evils US-israel is slowly killing Irans people but the whole world, intead of condemning US-irael, they help them despite of the obvious evil doing of US-israel. this is what reality of the HUMAN, showing that they believe and love God, but the reality they are more scared of US-israel than God.   evil deeds become right in the eyes of people, wrong becomes right.     IF ONLY THOSE ARAB LEADERS CAN SEE MY MESSAGE I WOULD, LET THEM KNOW   " SHAME ON THEM FOR NOT STANDING TOGETHER AND LET YOUR BROTHERS DIE IN FRONT OF YOU "     US-israel will eliminate you one by one, for sure.
.
all Muslims should be disappointed to you all for letting the enemy made you fighting each other and letting your Muslim brothers get killed in front of you by a tiny nation and you all surround.
