Maybe the Brits really are honest in their action and taking some defence measures challenging their  ally's  false flag to use them as decoy...?

Never in nearly sixty years of life have I seen such heavy militarisation of an Olympic Games event. There is clearly some hidden agenda here and anyone who says there isn't really needs to think again, carefully. Either something is expected in terms of attack, or else some other crisis is expected to blow. It isn't normal and the Londoners have every right to be concerned.

I don't get the perceived need for security. If the "government" has done nothing wrong then they should have nothing to worry about.

Nobody can deny that the Baader Meinhof group attacked the 1972 Munich Olympics but since then the games have been free of such extremist expression and a source of enjoyment the world over. The question one has to ask is what makes the 2012 London Olympics so different that the government feels the need to exaggerate security in such a manner? Could it be that they fear reprisals for their military actions and support of US warmongering?

Boycott the 2012 Olympics and its sponsors ...if you can live without CocaCola, McDonalds, and Heineken beers!

@ Romeo The British didn't have anti-aircraft missi les in WW2, only the Germans had that capability. Further more how is the British govern ment Zionist when out of a possible 650 seats in parliament only 3 are eligible to an M.P of Jewish faith. Alexi is so right - y0u don't get it do you Dave nor do millions of others, sadly,Firstly you don't have to be Jewish to support Zionism - you just have to have sold your soul.Secondly whatever makes you think that the MP's run the show - backbenchers with integrity are ignored and the Cabinet is hand picked to toe the line of the  paymasters behind the scenes ie. Zionists.

The best thing for the world to do is to stay home and not attend the London Olympics at all. The British government is demonstrating, by their actions, loudly and clearly that this event is highly dangerous. Missiles, rockets, artillery, heavily armed police, soldiers, NAVY seals (or the British equivalent thereof), helicopters bristling with weapons all broadcast the same message to the world: STAY HOME!! So, then, STAY home!! Let's have an attendance figure for the London Olympic games under 100 people. No one should even think of going to such a nasty, ugly police-state farce as the upcoming London Olympics and one should certainly not entertain the idea of taking children there! No, it's far too dangerous for that.
My advice is to obey the obvious wishes of the British Government and stay home. I also would advise nations to not send their teams to the quite obviously highly threatening London area.
I am an avid tourist who loves to travel and I love Europe. But I can tell you one thing, I will never set foot in the UK for love or money as that place is far, far too dangerous. I would advise that the governments of the world issue travel advisories on the UK and that restrictions be placed on anyone coming from the UK as it seems to be a place that is just overrun with terrorists of every stripe. Visas for UK passport holders should be highly restricted and hard to obtain in all the countries of the world.
Why did the UK government (I love the people there, just not the people that run the place) try so hard to get the Olympics in the first place if they were going to go into "fear mode" and act like a bunch of scared sissies over it?

This is just more theater to justify the phony terror war and strengten the police state.  Once they've militarized London, it will stay militarized.

p.s.  Most roofs were not designed to take the weight of a missile battery.

The security of the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014 will be just as tight or even tighter.... So stop complaining about the UK, but I guess its okay for Russia to do this but not for the UK? Hypocrites! I know I will be watching all of yours comments in 2014 and see what you guys say... The security of the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing was quite substantial, 34 000 soldiers patrolled the outskirts of Beijing, surface to air missiles was placed around the city, even 300 000 surveillance volunteers, 74 military aircraft's and 33 naval vessels. Plus the 110 000 police officers placed in the city...

Back in the '80s, seeing occupational armies and anti-aircraft weapons at the Olympics would have been something we'd expect to see in an uncivilized or a 3rd world militant country.

I'd wager to say that even the Nazis didn't even take the 1936 Berlin Olympics to such an extreme.  What an extreme role reversal in such a short period of time.
In 1936 NAZi's were not in a full scale war yet, not only that in 1936 no one worried about terrorist attacks. Like it or not this is a big issue now days, and there is nothing fake about it. Almost every European and North American dealt with terrorist attacks just with in last decade. England is a small country they can't affort to take chances, rememebr what happened to Germany years back?

First Rt complains about England not letting Russian agents guard their Russian athlete.. Now Rt complains about English authorities taking extra measures to protect athletes.   Tis is an empty article just like the past one.

More importantly, if someone wants to make a violent political statement during the Olympics, it might make sense to go to the other end of the British Isles to make it. It would still make the news, which is why such events are staged in the first place.. ---Not really. The MSM in Britain doesn't take much notice of anything that happens outside London.

Britain is preparing for civil war which will take place from July until September/October. It is very clear now that these are not preparations for Olympic games.

I wouldn't like to be on any plane arriving in London for the Olympics.
To think that the British govt made such a fuss because of an ad showing an Argentine hockey player training in the disputed Malvinas/Falklands, showing the label "to play on English soil, we train on Argentine soil".
They even had the nerve to threaten to report Argentina to the Olympic Committee for this stupid tiny little issue, because it allegedly violated Olympic spirit.
Now look at this!!
