Olympic crackdown: UK govt targets protests

May 11, 2012 08:21

The UK government is rounding on protesters ahead of this summer’s Olympics, issuing the first court order to ban an Occupy activist from the event. The unprecedented security measures for the Games have been branded as over-the-top.

The 2012 Olympics logo has been implanted by the british Zionists as part of the hidden advertising agenda of Zion / Israel to associate these names with accepted concept / name by people all over the world. This hidden persuasion technique by association is an established form of indirect advertising. This has been done at this particular Olympics because of the desperation of Israel and the opportunity of the Olympics being held at the bed of Zionism.

The UN should send observer mission to protect the demonstrators.

The government of the UK is going to have its hands full this summer.  The Olympic authorities will have to censor the media, in order to keep all the attention on the athletes.  In London, we be able observe democracy and freedom in all of its true colors.

This is just so insane. The UK is really going down. Fast. How can you ever, in a democratic state, force someone to stop protesting and/or to go near a place? The same stuff happened in 2008 in China, when the Olympics were there. The government disrupted protests and demonstrations highlighting issues of the Chinese state (e.g. Tibet) and put uncomfortable people away from the games. Unfortunately, the UK and US are on a quick way to becoming like China and North Korea. The blocking of TPB and other parts of the internet(pornography ) is another great intrusion into privacy. Bye bye, sweet womb of democracy.

LIBERTY=Freedom of expression in the US As a former Us tennis player said "You cant be serious" You know "full well" that Americans cant speak out against both the "system" and the government. Old Trick in the book, nothing new. (unregistered) 11.05.2012 17:00

Nothing like the old concept from back during the Roman Empire, bread and games, give the average guy bread and get them some entertainment and there you go, they no longer pay any attention to the problems in society while the elites continue screwing up the average guys without them being even aware of it...They sure studied this old trick in the history books that's for sure.

I am still waiting for anyone to show me any evidence of this 'New World Order' or name one Zionist who is trying to take over the world. Barak Obama? Clearly a Jew! David Cameron - the Upper Class English toff? Nate Rothchild? The Playboy multi-millionaire who has 2 brain cells to rub together who recently lost a high court libel case in the UK?! Does that honestly sound like someone who has power and influence?? Oh and by 'evidence' I do not mean rubbish and weird videos put together and posted on YouTube - even I could do that I WANT HARD CONCRETE EVIDENCE OF YOUR CLAIMS!

@Troll repellant - I do not think LIBERTY is a propagandist to be perfectly honest. Some of us are quite capable of looking at both sides of an argument/story and judging for ourselves which is the most likely to be accurate. This is done by looking at evidence, consulting a wide variety of sources from many differing viewpoints, from many differing countries, then evaluating the reliability of the sources; who said it? When was it said? In what context? For what purpose? It is only when you look at a story using this balanced and open-minded view that you are able then judge for yourself. All media is biased - BBC CNN FOX - of course they are, RT in particular but we actually have the intelligence to work it out for ourselves.

Remember Vancouver !! (unregistered) 11.05.2012 16:44

Sounds like the Olympic games we've got in Vancouver in BC Canada, pretty much the same circus. Only much worst in the UK this time, why watching this stupidity when knowing the junkies called "athletes" are all packed up with drugs such as steroids anyway now ?? Better things to take care of instead of watching these...Such as cleaning up the government and their elites pals, and obviously THEY are the garbage, and it's long overdue to take out the trash...

Sorry but they can't! The vast majority are talking about things far beyond their comprehension. Logic & reasoning are absent from these comments (bar one or two) They spout the usual conspiracy nonsense and yet when questioned and their so-called arguments and points are shown to be riddled with holes they become strangely silent mainly because they dont really understand what they are talking about in the 1st place! They believe every single thing they read on this website (and others of a similar nature ie conspiracy theories galore) simply because it offers a different view to the rest of the Western media -therefore it must all be true!!

SMJ, you should ask Globalists to graw a brain.
Control of the world is a dream of brainless Zionists.

SMJ (unregistered) wrote in #10
Victoria - How utterly ridiculous - anyone with half a brain and a vague grasp of reality can see that a 'one world government' is completely impossible and a made up pile of nonsense! It just would not work, worse than that why on Earth would anyone want to?? Look at one example you give us - the EU and look how well that is turning out! Do you really think this 'NWO' will be able to not only sort out ALL the world's problems but also manage to keep control of it? Er how do you propose that they would do this? By 'controlling the world's media'? I don't think so - Do you think people are that stupid? Really? There are 7 billion people on this planet it is impossible to control that many people. You think no-one but a bunch of conspiracy nutjobs on the internet would figure this out!? What about China and it's mass populous? Are they controlling them too? And Russia? And Latin America? What a load of utter codswallop. Grow a brain

So, SMJ, in your opinion it is ordinary to ban human rights?
YOU MUST BE OUT OF YOUR MIND

SMJ (unregistered) wrote in #5
I doubt very much that what the UK Government is doing in preparing for the Olympics is anything out of the ordinary. Any country would be taking similar measures and preaprations to ensure the smooth running of the games, a bit of a non-story really. The Occupy movement has fizzled out lets be honest - which is upsetting for RT as they are a little obsessed with it but they have no clear direction, no clear demands and they're just a bit of a nuisance now which isn't quite what they were aiming for I am sure (what were they aiming for by the way? Does anyone actually know??)

@duncan.lucas@btinte rnet.com:Western media in general (except Fox news) are not like RT: they give both sides of the story of each discussion (yes, even regarding what's happening in Syria, the questions that can be asked regarding the relationship of the US and saudi arabia/bahrain: open any newspaper or political magasine). The outstanding heallthcare in Cuba is often spoken of (as other virtues of the country). We are not biggots who hate all that is not Western, unlike RT and many of its readers. And Western media also have the courage to critisize their own leaders (maybe because they know they will not be threatened/arrrested /killed by the governement like in China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, North Korea - the autoritarian buddies). However, western media can not help the fact that this positive point of Cuba is overshadowed by all the human right abuses, corruption, oppression of the people who speak of those abuses,...

"The Chairman of the London Olympic Committee Lord Coe appealed to protesters not to disrupt the Olympic torch procession as it makes its way from Land’s End to London next month.
"One man's protest can destroy someone else's dream," said Coe."

Let's get something straight: for some one-time-attention-h ungry athlete it would be such a moral shock if someone came with a big banner saying "UK out of Afghanistan!"
No this is not at all suprising coming from a "lord" Coe.
In his mind, and in the mind of equally sick people a protester is imagined as a crazed hippy zombie that violently attacks random people.

That even should be protested into oblivion. No cows are holy, wether it's China, Russia, UK etc. In every case there is a public event such as this it is everyone's right to point out the problems that are usually shoved aside so as to not to "ruin" the event.
