Top KHL squad killed in passenger plane crash in Russia
September 07, 2011 12:44
At least 43 people have died in a Yakovlev Yak-42 passenger plane crash near the city of Yaroslavl in Central Russia, 270 kilometers north-east of Moscow. The majority of victims were members of the local ice hockey team Lokomotiv.
Rest in peace Karel Racůnek, Jan Marek and Josef Vašíček. They were from Czechia and Rachůnek with Marek have won gold medal for us in world championchip last year. It's a big harm for Czech and world hockey.
Come on, raise your taxes for the very rich and buy new planes, this is a waste of young life and an embarrassment for both the government and the Russian people.
May their soul rest in peace.I however have a question to ask. How often will this happen?I do understand that there probable more plains in the skys of Russia then most countries, but the crash percentage is way above average for any country even these in the developing countries. My impression is that anyone with a plane can start a airways with no regard to the age or state of the aircraft. How far is the Russian government going in regulating the air companies?
R.I.P. Karlis ''ironman'' Skrastins you will always be in our heart. R.I.P. for anyone else stars too... Demitra and all other big tradegy ;( when i find out this i started to cry. R.I.P. To everyone from latvia :(
RIP to all passengers :( Most sadly moment for I've ever felt in Slovakian ice hockey history. RIP Pavol Demitra, you will stay in our hearts forever….I do not understand, why russian aviation agency still allowing flights with this old junks. It's your responsibility Russia, you've killed all this peoples…
well, what can you say when people not in a warzone or of old age die. We all will one day as well. The thing is not one of us knows when they depart. It is a tragedy, especially when you knew the people who died, or at least from the TV screens. All we can do is now just pray for them or their families, ... I knew quite little, the only one I knew from TV screen was Pavol Demitra, a father of three if Im correct, and he was the captain of our national team too. Its not just about him, all who died had a family of their own, one way or another. So ... there will be a lot of pain for them especially. Whatever was the cause or blaming this or that wont bring anybody back. Its just sometimes it feels more "real" that the life here is pretty relative and sometimes people can think that nothing can happen to them. Rest in peace all of u, lets hope none went to hell for eternal torture, but to the Lord :)
