Pole awakes from deep sleep

Jan Grzebski was hit by a train 19 years ago. In April he started to wake up, having slept through Poland's fall of communism, the development of a democratic government, market economy and membership of NATO and the EU.
Jan Grzebski also slept through the weddings of his four children and the births of his 11 grandchildren.He attributes his miraculous recovery to the round-the-clock care of his wife Gertruda.
