Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk says he's boycotting the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing this summer in protest at the excessive use of force in Tibet.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on a document urging all European Union leaders to join the boycott.

It follows French President Nicolas Sarkozy saying he's also considering not going to China.
