Serbia has closed its polling stations in the country's snap parliamentary election. The vote was called after the coalition government collapsed in March, failing to reach a common stance on Kosovo's declaration of independence.

The outcome of the election will decide whether the country will head towards European integration or to a closer relationship with Russia.
