The citizens of Volgograd have been treated to a spectacular show called "The 3D History."
The three-dimensional laser show recreates the course of Russian history on the city's famous buildings.
The latest 3D-mapping technology, used primarily in advertising, is now being used to stoke local interest in history and art.
For three days Volgograd's stone walls have been brought to life, allowing residents to see how the city's changed over the past 400 years.
