An institute lecturer in Chita in south-eastern Siberia has been arrested after seeking a bribe from students of 250 litres of gas. He wanted the fuel for giving them good exam marks, reports Interfax news agency.
The man was arrested right after receiving the fuel tickets from the students.
On Monday a city court sentenced him to a suspended sentence and banned him from teaching for two years.
