Adelaide Open and Qatar Open winners known

Novak Djorkovic has won the Adelaide Open, Ivan Ljubicic has beaten Andy Murray in the final of the Qatar Open, while Xavier Malisse and Stefan Koubeck are to decide the third men’s single cup winner in China.

Novak Djorkovic has won the Adelaide Open after a tough three-set victory over wildcard Chris Giccione. Djorkovic took the first set 6-3 but the Australian took the second 7-6. Then Djorkovic proved too strong in the 3rd for the man who is ranked 153 in the world.

In Doha, Ivan Ljubicic has beaten Andy Murray in the final of the Qatar Open. The second seed served in the tenth game to take the first set 6-4. Murray kept pace with Ljubicic for much of the second and saved three match points before finally making an error to give Ljubicic victory.

Meanwhile, in the final of the Chennai Open, Xavier Malisse takes on Stefan Koubeck after a shock win over world number two Rafael Nadal in the semis. Malisse broke Nadal's serve in the third game to win the first set 6-4. He wrapped up the second 7-6 to take the match. Koubek beat Carlos Moya in straight sets. Moya won just 4 games in the match. But its Malisse who starts favouite for Sunday's final. He's won his last three encounters against the Austrian.
