Shock rock legend Alice Cooper is in Moscow for two nights of scary performances. It's part of the American musician's Psycho-Drama World Tour 2007. Russian audiences have already seen Cooper's provocative stage act in 2000 and 2002.

Moscow is no stranger to scandalous rock shows.  The likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson are regular features in the capital.  But Alice Cooper has promised to present the “scariest show” ever.

“The Russian audience is very energetic. A lot of musicians say 'We're going to perform in Russia, what is it like?' And I say that that people here are great,” Alice Cooper said.

Cooper also admitted that he'd spent most of the time shopping with his wife and daughter, who are currently on tour with him. And as Marilyn Manson has just visited Moscow, Cooper was asked if there is any competition between these shock rock artists.

“I think my show is more scary.  It's more visual, it's like a play and at the same time it's very funny,” he said.

Alice Cooper is now 60.  But despite getting on in years, he's still busy recording albums and touring the globe.  He recently released a book called “Golf Monster”, an autobiograpy full of tales of Alice's rock 'n' roll career.

After the Moscow concerts, Alice Cooper will move on to Scandinavia.
