All-male choir gig raises the roof in Moscow

They’ve performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall, Russia’s State Kremlin Palace and the Royal Palace of Madrid. Now Russia’s Turetsky Choir have made Arkhangelskoye Estate outside Moscow the latest venue to enjoy their music.

The all-male ‘marvellous ten’ do everything from the classics to Broadway. They sing in ten languages and their voices span from the highest pitch to the lowest.

The choir was formed in 1990 and has become a sought-after group – their performances are now booked years in advance.

But the choir's leader Mikhail Turetsky says they are not complacent and are still striving to improve.
