And the young students from the Institute of Modern Art expanded their creativity far beyond the famous scientist’s original theory of evolution.

Artem Burunov’s artwork is entitled ‘the Singing Closet’.

“I want to portray connections between everything since everything in this world is related to each other,” he explained. The idea of his symbolic creation, Artem said, is that “if a person tries very hard to overcome difficulties, he will eventually reach his goals and his dream will come true”.

The teenage artists tackle a number of philosophical questions through their creative work, including religion and the meaning of life.

Zhanna Ribak said that in her work she wanted to emphasise the connection between God and man.

“The form of my artwork is like a person and at the same time resembles a cross. There is a prayer written on it, and this prayer brings you kind feelings”.

The exhibition also has a degree of audience interaction. Those interested have another two weeks to check out the evolution-themed exhibition.
