Bangalore honors Russia’s rising tennis star

Russia’s Yaroslava Shvedova has won her first career WTA title. The win came at the Bangalore Open on Sunday. The 19-year-old Moscovite defeated top seeded opponent Mara Santangello in straight sets in the decider.
6-4, 6-4 is the final score.Shvedova is ranking 149th in the world but if this performance is anything to go by she will be making her way up the list in the very near future.
