CSKA Moscow beat Greek side Olympiacos by 83 points to 73 in Athens to level their three-game series. The deciding third game will be held in Moscow next Wednesday.
CSKA fans came all the way to Greece to make sure they’d get one more chance to see their team at home this season.
The Moscow side, playing away in front of a partisan crowd, was under intense pressure from the very beginning.
On the contrary, the Greeks felt fully at home in front of their fans.
But despite home advantage, Olympiacos went into the break behind the Russians.
From the beginning of the second half, there was no doubt about how the story would end: CSKA kept their advantage – gained in the end of the first half – until the end of the game.
