Biathlon: Russia’s Chudov becomes world champ

Maxim Chudov has become the new biathlon sprint World Champion, winning his race at the event in Ostersund inSweden.
The Russian sportsman made all 10 of his shots, while favourite Ole Einar Bjorndalen failed to match him, missing two shots. Norway’s biathlon ace eventually came third.
The silver medal went to another Norwegian, Halvard Hanevold.
