Yachting bonanza in Moscow

The glitz, the glint, the glamour... An international yacht extravaganza kicks off in the Moscow Region on September 4.
It’s become a matter of prestige for the Russian glitterati to own yachts worth half a million dollars.
The “Burevestnik Boat Show” in the Moscow Region features some 80 yachts from around the world, including boats by such heavyweights as “Riva”, “Fairline” and “Sunseeker”.
It’s a hands-on exhibition, so organizers of the three-day event expect to attract up to 10,000 boating enthusiasts, who will also be able to test drive their favorite boat.
Head of the expo Tamara Lukyanenko promises the sixth international yacht fair will be more ambitious than ever, regardless of the economic downturn.
