The star of the comedy “Peep Show” on Channel 4, Sophie Winkleman, will be wearing a dress designed by a Russian couturier in the most talked-about royal society wedding of the year.

Unlike many other celebrities, who prefer to turn to A-list designers on such glamorous occasions, Miss Winkleman, who is expected to marry Lord Freddie Windsor this weekend, decided not to choose any big labels for her wedding.

Acording to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old actress has chosen to wear a dress by Russian designer Anna Bystrova from the so called “Roza” boutique in Moscow. Her bridesmaids reportedly include her niece Matilda Thykier and Lady Helda Taylor’s daughter Eloise.

British “Sans Pareil” online source describes Bystrova as “the creative genius” behind her Moscow boutique, saying each of her dresses is “a unique work of art”.

Should Bystrova’s bridal dress produce the right impression on Lord Freddie and his mother, Princess Michael of Kent, her career in Europe could take off at a rapid pace.
