Chelsea opens purse strings for Russian duo

Chelsea are being linked with a US$ 40 million swoop on Lokomotiv duo Dinyar Bilyaletdinov and Branislav Ivanovic.
Blues coach Avram Grant was spotted at Lokomotiv's match last weekend.
The Independent newspaper in Britain are reporting the deal is almost done although Loko are remaining tight-lipped.
“Sure we have some big offers from Europe concerning Branislav Ivanovic and Dinyar Bilyaletdinov but we only will consider them at the end of the season as right now that we have Russian championship so all the offers and decisions will be made at the end of the Russian season,” pointed out Aleksandr Udaltsov, FC Lokomotiv Moscow spokesman.
