Chelsea signs Ivanovich from Lokomotiv Moscow

Chelsea have finally confirmed that they are to sign Lokomotiv Moscow defender Branislav Ivanovic. After weeks of wrangling, the blues today got their man.
No fee has been revealed as yet, but British press sources are estimating the figure to be close to nine million pounds.
The versatile Serbian international has been an ever present in the Lokomotiv backline for the past two seasons, culminating in a Russian Cup medal last May.
Real Madrid, Manchester United and European champions AC Milan had all been vying for the 23-year-old's signature.
