CIS and Baltic footballer of the year named

Russia and Zenit Saint Peterburg striker, Andrey Arshavin, has been named the CIS and Baltic states footballer of the year.
The award was given by the Russian newspaper Sport Express.
Arshavin was instrumental in his country's qualification for Euro 2008.
Young player of the year
Kirill Kombarov has been named Young Player of the Year by the Russian Football Union.
The Dynamo Moscow midfielder scored four goals in 29 games for his club.
Kombarov has been a linchpin in the national Under-21 side.
