Cloud-cuckoo-land seen in Russian sky

Residents of Russia’s northern city of Murmansk have witnessed a very rare phenomenon – multi-coloured clouds.
Scientists say nacreous clouds occur in the stratosphere about 20 to 30 kilometres above the earth where the air is very dry and rarely allows clouds to form.
The spectacular multi-coloured effect is created by small crystals, which reflect the rays of the sun long after sunset.
