Dacha days are here again!

Summer is on the way and the migration to country homes, known as dachas, has begun.
Though the dacha boom saw its peak in the 80s, Russia still remains the nation with the largest number of second-home owners.
Escaping to a dacha has become an integral part of Russian life. It’s a chance for urbanites to show off their green fingers and enjoy nature and that staple of outdoor cuisine – the traditional shashlik (something like a sheesh kebab).
