2014 days til 2014 Sochi olympics

While the world's attention is drawn to the next week's Beijing games, Russia is counting the days before the Olympic flame arrives. It's exactly two thousand and 14 days until the Sochi 2014 Olympics.
To mark the date a group of tourists climbed two thousand and 14 metres up a mountain near Sochi to start a fire dedicated to the future Winter Olympics.
The organisers are planning various sporting events linked to the number 2014 including amateur car orienteering and striking tennis balls 2014 times.
Authorities say their aim is to boost interest in the Sochi games across the city.
