A documentary, "Michael Jackson: This Is It,” by American director Kenny Ortega will be released in Russia on October 29.

This is going to be a true happening for Russian fans of the pop king, as he has a massive following in this country. Hundreds of Russians were among his fans throughout the world who attended "Thriller" zombie dances on Jackson’s birthday.

The film will offer a unique retrospective of the pop king’s life and career, accompanied by interviews from friends, colleagues and Jackson's relatives.

The project was largely paid for by Jackson’s family and will use footage from his latest rehearsals at the Los Angeles' Staples Center in preparation for his planned London O2 concerts.

The premiere of the film in the USA is planned for October 28th.

Michael Jackson was taken to a California hospital after he stopped breathing on June 25, where he was pronounced dead without regaining consciousness. Investigators have established that Jackson was killed and the main suspect in the case is the pop king’s doctor, Conrad Murray.

Michael Jackson was buried in Los Angeles on September 3, 70 days after he died.
