Eurobasket: Russia – defeated, but not upset

Russian national team has suffered their first defeat at the European Basketball championships, as they were beaten by hosts and defending World Champions, Spain.
The final score was 81 – 69. But the match was not crucial for Russia, because David Blatt’s team are already through to the playoffs.
Andrei Kirilenko was the top-scorer again – with a game high 21 points.
The victory gave Spain a pass to the last eight as well.
