Dolores O'Riordan, former singer with Irish band The Cranberries, has given her first-ever performance in Moscow. Her next concert is in Italy, then on to Switzerland and France, but her legions of fans in Russia are sure that, having been there once, she

She believes herself to be a lucky person.

“The cool thing about rock-n-roll is that you can do it forever. You can have problems, but you can still rock though,” the singer said.

Dolores O'Riordan wrote her first song when she was 14. Since then she has been admired by millions of fans worldwide as lead singer of the Cranberries.

“Inspiration comes from things that you go through as a human being, I am 36, I've got three kids, I'm married. Relationships are always fragile and you can never take anything for granted. And there are always challenges in life,” she said.

Dolores left the Cranberries almost five years ago. She says it opened up a new world for her, one with no visible limitations.

Earlier this year she released her first, long-awaited album called “Are You Listening?”

“When I started writing ”Are You Listening“ it was going to be a piano album, it was going to be really soft, but there's a rock demon inside me that I can't get rid of and l love to rock out. It's funny I can never tell what I'm going to do next creatively speaking,” she added.
