Fans celebrate launch of Russian YouTube

Moscow's most flamboyant stuntmen, aspiring musicians, juvenile pranksters and comedians were brought together for the launch of the Russian version of YouTube, a website that enables anyone to grab a minute of fame.
The internet phenomenon has launched pop careers and made stars of the most unlikely people for the most improbable of reasons.
YouTube already has a fan base in Russia but a new site dedicated to Russian clips is expected to increase its popularity.
