Fans kept in suspense by Safina-Hingis game

Russian tennis player Dinara Safina got her season off to the best possible start, by beating Martina Hingis in three sets at the Gold Coast Open. Safina took the first set 6-3, but Hingis hit back well, to take the second by the same score line.

But the Russian player raised her game in the decider, and earned a crucial break in the 6th game to secure her 5th WTA title.
