February not good for Russian football: Spartak coach

In the UEFA Cup, Spartak Moscow could only manage a 1-1 draw against Celta Vigo in Moscow, despite being in control for most of the game. However, Spartak coach, Vladimir Fedotov, said he was pleased with his side's performance.
“I need to remind you that February is not the best month to play football in Russia,” Mr Fedotov remarked. “But still, the team played well in the game. Unfortunately, we created all the opportunities for the opposite side ourselves, because they are a team who counterattack really well and we knew that.”
