A state-of-the-art animation film studio, aimed at producing cartoons in the Chechen language, has been created in the former Soviet Republic.
Located in the town of Gudermes, it’s become part of a typography studio whose head says its brand-new equipment has no rivals in Russia.
“The typography has purchased the so called Motion Capture IGS-190 system, said to be one of the best in the world. We’re planning to release the first Chechen cartoon by September,” Magomed Elgaraev told Ria Novosti News Agency.
Animated films will be made with regard to religious and ethnic traditions of the Chechen people.
“Our productions will educate children taking into account the beauty and wisdom of Islam and ethnic traditions,” Elgaraev said.
A special Islamic High Council commission will give its opinion on the quality of scenarios of all productions.
