Zenit's highly successful manager, Dick Advocaat, will be leaving the St Petersburg club at the end of the season to coach the Australian national squad. That's according to media reports from Australia.
If true, the development will come as a major blow to fans of the blue and whites .
Zenit have seen a dramatic transformation since Advocaat took charge last year. The club is currently joint-top of the premier league and possibly just three games away from their first ever top-flight Russian title.
It’s reported Advocaat will make his decision at the end of the season, which coincides with an Australian soccer tour of Europe.
