A rap band of young Palestinians from Gaza tells the story about what it’s like to live in the Palestinian territories. These Young Arab rappers started the new wave of music in the Gaza Strip, one the most conservative societies in the Middle East.

Unlike Snoop Dog they do not ask their fans to drop it like its hot but they have other things to deliver.

“Our songs are about problems we see in our everyday life, problems that we fix in our mind. We talk about these problems, reasons and possible solutions,” says rap singer Muataz Al Huaihi.

The Palestinian Rappers team known as PR, juggle Middle East traditions with modern rap style, which is getting more and more popular among young Arabs.

But Gaza rap has also found enemies.

On the Internet there's been accusations of PR breaking the laws of the Koran and promoting a alternate view of Muslim life.

But the Palestinian stars do not really care about the accusations.

“They say we are dangerous, we not only teach youngsters to sing differently, but show them the wrong way how to dress, talk and act. But nothing can stop us from performing and developing our project,” adds rap singer Aiman Mugamis.
